RAI invites applications for Supernumerary Research and Teaching Fellowships

The Rothermere American Institute invites applications for Supernumerary Research and Teaching Fellowships.

Applicants will be academics who teach or research US culture, history, literature or politics, who have a track record of commitment to the intellectual life of the RAI. This can take many forms, including attending and participating in seminars/events and a record of/willingness to contribute to the Institute’s mission of teaching and researching the United States. It is expected that the SRTF will continue to be involved in the life of the Institute. The Institute is unable to offer office space to SRTFs, but they will have use of the Vere Harmsworth Library and University facilities (including email) for the duration of their Fellowship. The Fellowship is normally awarded for one academic year, although longer Fellowships may be awarded at the Institute’s discretion.

For details on how to apply, please visit http://www.rai.ox.ac.uk/fellows/apply/srtf.

The deadline for applications is noon on Monday, 28 May 2018 (week 6 of Trinity Term).
