Annie Li

Annie Li is reading for an MPhil in Theology (Ecclesiastical History) at Wolfson College, Oxford, as a Marshall Scholar. Her research interests center on the history of Christianity and race in the 20th-century United States, specifically the Civil Rights Movement, Asian American church history, and liberation theology. She is currently researching receptions of Dietrich Bonhoeffer in light of Latin American and Black liberation theologies, in the US and abroad. Before Oxford, she graduated summa cum laude from Emory University with a BA in History and Sociology in 2022.
