Professor Peter Mancall (University of Southern California) will deliver the 2019 Harmsworth Lecture in American History at 5pm on Tuesday 19 November.

Peter C. Mancall is the Andrew W. Mellon Professor of the Humanities at the University of Southern California. He is the author of six books and an elected fellow of the Society of American Historians and the Royal Historical Society.  He gained his Ph.D. from Harvard University in 1986.
