The RAI has two seminar rooms on the lower ground floor available for hire.
Â
Â
The large seminar room can be set up as one large room or partition screens can be drawn to create a smaller space to suit the size of the booking. We can provide lecture style seating, with rows of seating facing a speaker or panel at the front of the room, or board room style seating, with a large table in the middle of the room and chairs around the table. We can accommodate a maximum of 100 people in lecture style. For board room style, we can accommodate a maximum of 30 people. We have a full suite of audio-visual equipment including high quality cameras and microphones and a large screen for online, hybrid and in-person events.
The small seminar room can accommodate 10 people around a central table. There is currently no AV provision in this room.
We can provide tea and coffee for an additional fee. There is also a common room area and a garden which, if available on the day of your booking, can be used as a breakout space and for refreshments. Please ask when making your booking if this is of interest.
Discounts are available for University of Oxford bookings.
Seminar room accessibility
There is step-free access to the seminar rooms via a lift in the foyer (entry doors are 69 centimetres/31 inches wide). Once you reach the lower ground floor level, there is a short walk to the seminar rooms (approximately 22 metres/72 feet to the seminar rooms).
