The RAI is pleased to support the tenth annual conference of the Society for the History of Women in the Americas (SHAW), to be held on Thursday 6 July 2017 at The Oxford Research Centre in the Humanities.
The conference is currently inviting paper proposals, which should be submitted (along with a 100-word biography) to firstname.lastname@example.org by 10 April 2017. The full call for papers can be viewed here.
SHAW is a scholarly association dedicated to the historical investigation of women and gender in North America, South America and the Caribbean, either within or between nation states and/or the northern or southern hemispheres. It provides an arena for researchers from across a range of disciplines to come together, offering a focal point in which their hemispheric gender concerns can coalesce and develop further.
