boustany edwards

Join two former Members of Congress, Charles Boustany (R-Louisiana, 2005-17) and Donna Edwards (D-Maryland, 2008-17) and two of the world’s leading scholars of American politics, Professor Stephen Skowronek (Yale and Oxford) and Professor Lawrence Jacobs (Minnesota) for a discussion of the realities of American government.

Open to Oxford undergraduates, postgraduates and faculty members.

This event is organised as part of the Congress to Campus UK programme, which brings former Members of the US Congress to the UK to talk with student and general audiences about contemporary US politics. Working with the US Association of Former Members of Congress, the programme is coordinated by the Rothermere American Institute and the Eccles Centre for American Studies at the British Library, with support from the US Embassy London.
