I am studying for a DPhil in English at Corpus Christi College, Oxford. My research looks at southern fiction’s engagement with urban sociology in the mid-twentieth century, exploring townscapes in the work of authors such as Carson McCullers and Zora Neale Hurston. Before starting my doctorate, I completed a BA in English Language and Literature at St. Edmund Hall, Oxford, and an MPhil in Modern and Contemporary Literary Studies at Trinity College, Dublin. I have also worked as a research assistant and producer.
