Panellists include:

Molly Ball (virtual). Molly Ball is the former senior political correspondent at The Wall Street Journal. She previously covered campaigns, the White House, Congress, and political debates across America for Time, the Atlantic, and Politico. She is also the best-selling author of Pelosi, and the recipient of the Dirksen Award for Distinguished Reporting of Congress, and the Gerald R. Ford Prize for Distinguished Reporting on the Presidency.

Galen Druke (virtual). Galen Druke analyses US politics and elections with Nate Silver and Clare Malonon on the Still Counting podcast. For nearly a decade, he hosted and produced the FiveThirtyEight politics podcast. His reporting and analysis regularly feature on ABC News, NPR, C-Span, and the BBC. He is also the host of the GD Politics podcast and author of a popular politics Substack.

Ursula Hackett (in person). Ursula Hackett is the Churchill Associate Professor of US Politics and Senior Fellow of the RAI. She is an expert on US public policy and litigating, and has just finished a book on the politics of redistricting and gerrymandering.

Adam Smith (in person). Adam Smith is the RAI Director and Osborn Professor of US Politics and Political History. He is an expert on party politics and political culture and a frequent commentator on US politics for newspapers, magazines, radio programmes, and podcasts. He will chair and moderate the event.
