I completed an MSt in English at New College, Oxford, in 2022, for which my research focussed on experimental poetry and philosophy of language. Before that, I studied English at the University of Cambridge, where I graduated (in 2021) with the highest mark in my year. I have published two academic articles on Wallace Stevens, in Critical Quarterly and Essays in Criticism, and, as part of the Privacy Settings Collective, co-authored an essay, published in Post45, on reading practices in the age of Amazon. My non-academic literary criticism and essays appear in a wide range of publications, from Annulet to n+1; and I was the winner of the 2024 Telegraph Poetry Competition. My doctoral research is supported by the Clarendon Fund and Merton College.
