I am a native of Joplin, Missouri, USA, and I previously graduated summa cum laude with a BA in ‘Oxbridge Institutions & Policy’ and Philosophy from William Jewell College, where I received the Faculty Award. There, I also served as the youngest-ever elected Student Senate President in the history of my college, and mitigated many issues including an active school shooting threat. Additionally, I am returning to Oxford after having already spent a full academic year studying as a visiting student at Mansfield College. Alongside my undergraduate studies, I was a fellow in the National Humanities Leadership Council, and a legal intern in the chambers of the Honorable W. Brent Powell, Chief Justice of the Missouri Supreme Court. Upon returning to Oxford, I have the privilege of serving as the representative of my MPhil cohort, as well as the Master’s Representative of the Oxford School of Global and Area Studies.
