I hope to analyse how human management has affected Yellowstone’s wildlife. Previous studies have focussed on only a single species, or on only part of the Yellowstone range. I believe a full ecosystem study is needed to truly understand the changes Yellowstone has undergone in its history. This historic baseline will be compared to modern data to understand how anthropogenic impacts have affected Yellowstone and to help direct future conservation schemes. My supervisors are Professor Tim Coulson (Biology) and Dr Stephen Tuffnell (History).
