Jacob Greenspon

I am currently pursuing a DPhil in Economics at the University of Oxford, which I started in autumn 2022. My dissertation focuses on several current public policy issues around automation, the energy transition, and labor markets, and in particular what lessons can be learned about these issues from similar episodes in American economic history. I previously studied for a Master in Public Policy at the Harvard Kennedy School of Government, a MA in Economics at Queen’s University, and a BA in Economics and Political Science at McGill University. I have also worked for several years as an economist and research assistant at various think tanks, government organizations, and academic research centres in Canada and the US and continue to publish policy research and other public writing.
