I am studying for a DPhil in English at Corpus Christi College, Oxford. My research examines the representation of emerging built environments in twentieth-century American fiction, focusing on architecture’s relationship to futurity in the work of Willa Cather, William Faulkner, Zora Neale Hurston, and Joan Didion. Before starting my doctorate, I completed a BA in English Language and Literature at St. Edmund Hall, Oxford, and an MPhil in Modern and Contemporary Literary Studies at Trinity College, Dublin.
