Madeleine Rose is a DPhil candidate in English at Corpus Christi College, Oxford. Her research examines modernist poetry and entanglement, with a focus on the relationship between early twentieth century poetic innovation and contemporaneous developments in the discipline of Ecology. Her work is concerned mainly with the poetry of H.D., Marianne Moore, and Charlotte Mew. Before starting her doctorate, she completed a BA in English Language and Literature at Wadham College, Oxford and an MA in English Literary Studies at Durham University.
