Maurice Hirt

Maurice Hirt is a MPhil Politics student at the Department of Politics and International Relations, studying the political economy of climate and fiscal policy in a US and comparative context. In particular, his thesis focuses on the constraints that fiscal rules, financial rules and voter preferences impose on climate investments and bond issuances. He holds a BSc in Philosophy, Politics and Economics from the London School of Economics, focusing on political economy and quantitative methods. His professional journey encompasses work with international organisations and in consulting and asset management.
