Miranda Richman

Miranda Richman is a Clarendon Scholar and 1st year DPhil candidate in international relations at University College, Oxford. Her research explores the U.S.-Korea-Japan trilateral partnership, the role of historical memory in security paradigms, and U.S. alliance management tactics under conditions of peer competition in the Indo-Pacific. Professionally, Miranda has over three years of experience working in U.S. Federal contracting; she has also interned in the Foreign Policy Advisor’s Office at U.S. Indo-Pacific Command, served as a Fulbright grantee in South Korea, and conducted research for the Institute for Historical Justice and Reconciliation based in The Hague. Originally from Portland, Maine, Miranda holds an MPhil from the University of Oxford in International Relations and a BA from Harvard University in Government and East Asian Studies.
